Winters' Wonders
Winters' wonders are many, some can even be enjoyed through a backyard window. This young black-capped chickadee was caught having a quick afternoon snack in our front birch trees. I managed to snap this shot through a window and was pleased with the result. I'd rarely be able to get this close out in the open!
With a bit of determination and a wee sense of adventure fabulous vistas can been seen. Taking a walk along a small river during a quick January thaw or chasing the sunlight after a brief ice storm can often allow the viewing of some magical landscapes.
