It's all about the light
Emergence, new life responding to the return of light filled days to each Hemisphere, March in the north, October in the south. In our region it also means the melting of snows and warming of temperatures as the sun showers the north with its' energy.
Even Northern Lights are more prevalent beginning with this time of the seasons - a direct indication of the solar energy we receive daily!

It's all about the colors!
The bees, other insects and birds are attracted to the colors and perfumes that become abundant as the first flowers open. Whites, blues, yellows, purples, pinks and reds. The view changes throughout the season as successions of different plants come and go from spring through to fall. Even the foliage ranges in shades of greens, browns and reds.

It's all about life
This image is shared in honor of our beloved Keisha who passed on in January 2009. A happy and loving Jack Russell rescue who won our hearts many years before! Keisha loved the garden and was a major player in the balance of energies and family activities and is greatly missed.
