As a young child I never had any attachment to the whole New Year's celebration thing. I couldn't figure out what the big deal was. I'd wake up on the 1st day of a new year and wonder - "What's so special about this? Nothing has changed, why celebrate a new calendar?" It wasn't a new school year, they start in September. Not even a new semester, they run on a different schedule too. Ah, but, birthdays, that was it! A new year meant another birthday - to a kid THAT is something to celebrate!
Nowadays I might not relish the birthdays quite so much, but I no longer need an excuse to have cake and ice cream either! he he!
A new year now means new beginnings to me and where I live the weather is usually crisp and fresh in January which seems suitable to a new beginning!
On this beginning of a crisp and fresh New Year I wish you the best of new beginnings and hope you'll stay engaged while we work to establish our newest version of our website and explore the tools available to help us share our heart & soul's work with you! Looking forward to a fabulous and creative New Year!
